Big Game Hunting in Wyoming
Savery Creek Outfitters was established in 2001 with our primary “Savery Creek” hunting ground located in Wyoming. Over the years we've added neighboring ranches, giving our hunters more room and more animals. Our fully-guided hunting opportunities are a great choice for any hunter, regardless of experience.
We currently hunt in excess of 50,000 acres of exclusively-leased private land, and we also operate under permit by the Medicine Bow National Forest. Wyoming licenses for elk, deer, and antelope are by draw. Nonresident applications open in January; elk closes in early February and deer/antelope around June 1. See Plan Your Hunt for details. With both resident and migrating herds on our ranches, we're generally 100% successful on rifle hunts and see 90%+ opportunity on archery hunts.​

Our seasons take advantage of rut-timed hunts as well as migratory pattern hunts. Hunters stay at our upper ranch's 4,000 sq ft lodge or our 12,000 sq ft lodging on the lower river-bottom properties, with home-cooked meals, comfortable beds, and hot showers after a long day.

We also have access to ranches on the South Island and can offer any of the species found there including Chamois and Tahr.
